-----Chrome reflector turns blue
We have a customer (powder applicator) who has been requested to re-coat some small infra red conservatory heaters. The coating has turned brown, the chrome protective wire cage changed to a bluish colour and the chrome heat reflector has been altered to a matte finish. These heaters are supposed to run at 200 °C - but what temperature did they reach to get into this state, or could running them for three months at 200 °C result in this defect?

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
