-----Anodize parts being tacky
What would cause parts to have a tacky feeling after they were supposedly dried and what would cause the powdery residual after they have been anodize. Metals predominate used are 2024-T3, T4, and T351; 7075 T6 ; 6061 T6

To take Ted's response a step further, some anodize coatings are required/specified to be sealed, while others are required/specified to be unsealed. Properly sealed coatings will not exhibit the stickiness you mention, while unsealed or inadequately sealed coatings will. A sticky coating does not necessarily mean poor sealing.
