Tape adhesion problem on plated emblem (ABS base material)

Dear Sir.
I am facing tape adhesion problem on plated (ABS)emblems. Adhesive tape not work properly on those emblems which have ribs in back sides. Same time plated without ribs, emblems have no issue. How can I solve the problem?
