What coating protects stainless steel from
sulphuric acid? [California]
November 15, 2007
Our customer has stainless steel tubes that are used to process
waste water and treat human waste. They will be subject to sulphuric
acid and other corrosives. What can I coat the stainless steel tubes
with to protect them?

Teflon or plastisol should do it. I rather doubt that a paint or
thermoset powder will be impervious enough. Good luck.
