Mirror finish on stainless steel surface [India]

i am a stainless steel cutlery manufacturer. i need to know how to bring about mirror finish polishing on stainless steel. please let me know the ingredients to be used and the method by which to do the same. also how to do mat finishing too.

This is a very very broad question, Harish. So please start by describing what mechanical or chemical finishing you presently employ, and what finish it gives you that is neither shiny not matte. Thanks.

You can make electrochemical polishing by max. sulfuric and phosphoric acids 40 : 60

Use chromium oxide for final polish(or very fine corundum dust). Second option is electropolishing. Good luck!
