-----Pyrophosphate Copper vs. Bright Acid Copper Plating
Why have I been told that new acid copper is better than Pyrophosphate copper plating now , I have read it's much better (in old books!)

As one of our regular readers sometimes responds: "Which is better, a Corvette or a Mack Truck?". It depends on the application. In circuit board plating, the new acid coppers are now widely considered better than copper pyrophosphate. But, if the application is plating onto steel, acid copper will not work, and proprietary copper pyrophosphate is the only substitute for cyanide copper.
