Titanium contamination in a Zinc bath

HI

Can anybody suggest to me what should I do in order to get rid of Titanium from a Zinc bath? Also how to analyze the concentration of this metal in a Zinc bath.

Is your Zinc Bath an Acid Zinc type? If so, are you using Titanium Baskets for your zinc anodes? If so, you need to keep them full or the bath attacks the titanium.
I plate acid zinc. For what we do titanium in the bath is not an issue -- maybe your application is much more high tech than ours, we are a commercial plating shop.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
