The market for nickel plated steel strip

1998

Can you recommend any resources that would report on the market for nickel plated steel strip in the United States?

Best regards,

Rob Babson

Inco or the Nickel Institute may have that information and might give it or sell the documents.

Hi Bob, how are you? This is the way we meet again! One of the markets you are looking for, I think, is the rapid discharge lead acid battery manufacturing. Subsequent to nickel, they plate lead. These are used as triggers for amunition. But they are slowly moving towards the lithium batteries. Why, I forgot.

Using the pre-annealing process, what would cause nickel plated steel to blister if the hardness is 85 Vickers?

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
