Brass corrosion removal: three part brass candlestick

I have two brass candlesticks, each in three parts that unscrew for different configurations. I am able to take apart one; the other seems to be corroded on the threads of the 'screw together' surfaces. I want to be able to take apart the second candlestick.

Please advise.

Thank you,

Hi, Artha. Liquid Wrench [link is to product info at Amazon] was made for exactly this purpose, although WD-40 [link is to product info at Amazon] can probably do fine as well. Leave it on for several hours, and even respray two or three times if necessary. It almost always works.
